PhysioNet makes direct contact with organisations abroad, who are trying to support their disabled people, and arranges to ship equipment directly to them. There is a vast unsatisfied need for physiotherapy equipment such as wheelchairs, frames and specialist paediatric equipment in other areas of the world. PhysioNet has been active since 2005 collecting equipment across the UK and shipping out to many different parts of the world.
